Wow! Interesting backstory for Prowl, and a different take on his logical process characterization.
Will you be continuing this? I'd like to see Jazz work through the process of getting to know Prowl again. You have some great basis for character growth here: Jazz's angst on his feelings of being lied to, the growth he has to journey through to find the meaning of what life is. I reacted to his assertion that "Prowl wasn't alive." That's a powerful statement, and is indicative of some deep-seated thoughts and feelings on Jazz's part.
As for Prowl, a deep part of his identity has been revealed... and found wanting. You write them as if they are close friends, so the betrayal of that act has to be brutal. Are you going to explore the "emotions" of that, or, since he is a drone, does he not have emotions on the matter? I can picture a line like Data is Star Trek: "Your behavior patterns have become predictable, and over time, anticipated. If absent, they would be missed."
Very cool! You have so many things to play with here! I'm looking forward to the continuation. :)
